RP is not all a walk in the park. Sometimes people get captured, injured, shot up in a firefight, etc.
That being said if what is off limits for your character?
I'll go first:
Xyl'an is my "don't kill me character". He has a lot of work invested in him and I'd like to keep him among the living. That said, as long as he doesn't lose an eye or fingers or toes, I'm game. Loss of lekku is okay if the situation is extreme enough. (found out that they can be replaced with bionics.)
Cut him, shock him, stab him, inject him with messed up chemicals and truth serums, the sky is the limit.
How far are you all willing to go with your toons? What makes you squemish? What is a no no for you as a player? If you were put in a brutal interrogation, how far will you go...!?
Give us some feedback and let us know!

Ak'ron: Scars are fine, be they burns, slashes or punctures. If fingers or toes have to go then let me pick which ones but no limbs. I don't want him dead as he is a character that is close to my heart, lots of work and thought went into him not to mention the time invested in leveling him and getting him pretty clothing to wear out on the town.
Personally I cannot stand feet, something about them is just not happy fun time for me. The beach can really, really suck. *lol*
In interrogation the only thing that I won't allow is my character getting killed or limbs removed, this includes part or all of his lekku...well maybe the tip would be alright but I think it's clear what I mean on that.

How far am I willing to go? Like Xyl'an and Ak'ron, please don't kill Neritaana . Permanent disfiguring I kinda don't like, with the exception of minimal scarring to limbs. I've grown used to her and I'd like to explore where she goes as a Jedi for a long time. What makes you squeamish? Blood and guts really get me feeling pale, so if she gets captured or something please no bloodletting or whatever. What is a no-no for you as a player? Same as above, and please nothing explicit. I mean, I've never seen anything in the movies where the torture scene was anything but a shock or poke - like where they tortured Han Solo . If you were in a brutal interrogation, how far will you go? Same as above. If Neritaana were captured, I'd imagine her getting shocked to the point of unconsciousness or given something to make her woozy and unable to fight back. Hope I answered everything!

For Rieth, I'm okay with scars and injuries like broken bones, stuff like that. No removal of limbs or fingers/toes. Despite her fears of being incapacitated/out of control due to drugs or otherwise I'm totally willing to put her on the chopping block for that.
I have a pretty strong stomach for most things, so...yeah!

Well hell looks like I'm about to be the Minority. I'm not sure if some of these questions are addressing my character or me as a person. (Except the first one.. so I'll just roll with it. ) How far are you all willing to go with your toons? In recent years I've adopted the anything goes approach for a number of reasons. There are very few people on this Earth who would engage me in RP that put's my characters in legitimate death situations, either it doesn't get that far or due to the nature of Star Wars there is some more creative option. Usually I start looking for a way out long before that becomes an issue. That being said, if someone brings my character to the point of death in a way that is acceptable to me, I will allow it. Because as I've said, I've probably been looking for an out for a while now, and if you can creatively bring my character to an end in an awesome manner.. then I will accept that and allow that character to pass as an awesome and complete experience. I have plenty of ideas to draw characters from. Now randomly walking up to him and sabering him in half or blasting him in the face, no. (Though it is something to think about, would be really be bad-ass/dodge/on-guard around our superiors or friends if someone randomly decided to go on a killing spree?) You'd be surprised how this mindset changes everyone, and how more realistic RP gets in places where there is that pressing element of death and all that work and thousands of written words being (perceived as) lost. It makes the simplest actions that much more meaningful to the players around you. Walking across the battlefield under fire completely determined and upright because your mortal enemy is on the other side, or your best friend cries for help... it rings completely differently when one of those random blaster bolts can instantly end the whole line of story right there. When we take death out of the equation, we go on this never ending cycle of looking for more grandiose and detailed ways of doing crazy things... taking on armadas of whatevers and diving headlong into battle. It's the little things that make real life and the little things that can make RP. One of the strongest memories I have is reading a character pass from existence due to deathsticks, yet some people have a habit of tossing them around in their writing like candy... there's a whole element to explore that's being missed. All of that being said... no one wants their work ruined myself included. It would take a special situation for me to accept my characters death, and that's not to say I have anything against people who don't want to have that worry, especially when they're attached to characters we spend physical time leveling as well. We're all at different points in our RP careers and we're all searching for a Thing, and that Thing is different for everyone and it will change from time to time. What makes you squemish? As a Doctor my character has seen some pretty heinous stuff so I don't expect much in the way of physical harm will shock him. Everyone succumbs on some level the the pressing smell of death or burning flesh.. any number of things in excess. In real life I'm not necessarily squeamish but I have an extreme dislike to blood and needles and broken bones etc. That is not to be read as afraid or that I will pass out.. I just tend to avoid those situations as much as possible. What is a no no for you as a player?I don't really know what you're asking here. If you were put in a brutal interrogation, how far will you go...!?Cailro has a complex view of right and wrong. Often it shifts between a twisted self-imposed morality and the blanket views of who he's working for. Always there will be a justification that "it was the right thing to do". There is also a constant play on the traditional Doctor theme of not bringing harm to people, which then begs the question; All people or my people? So I guess there's the real answer. The solution at that point would be some kind of drugging or gentle persuasion. As far as being interrogated I expect someone who helps others deal with pain might know a bit about doing so himself. I doubt he would last as long as the hardened soldier. It is proven in real world research though that intellectual types give less effective information the more they are pressed.. so the more brutal an interrogation is for Cailro the likely worse it will be for the interrogator. IRL I don't plan on being in any interrogation situations... I'm a Music Teacher, not a physicist. I'll tell you all you want to know about Bach free of charge.

I'm down with most everything. If you cut something off that will make him a pogue, then he will be removed from active service and that toon will leave the guild.
Same for dying.
Otherwise, we're cool.
