Neritaana enters her quarters and steps in front of the holocamera, bypassing going to her bedroom for meditation.
"Before I can sit, I must search my feelings here...
It's been only a standard week since I accepted my new mandate from the Jedi Council, under Jedi Master Ak'ron.
In that time, I have met with him and other confidants in our plight only three times..."
Neritaana breathes out, then continues.
"It's for this third meeting that I'm making this entry. It's been revealed to me that there are a number of our 'allies' that are merely serving as distractions. I won't say how they have been, but my feelings tell me that Master Ak'ron seems to welcome these...diversions.
Our dire mandate is very heavy with consequence. When I stretch out in the Force from this very room, I can feel its weight. This feeling is preventing me from bringing myself to understand Master Ak'ron's methods.
My mind is open to the possibility that after all my time spent in the Temple, I may be guilty of what the pilgrims in the nearby villages accused us in the Order of - that is being too detached.
I'm willing to forego this evening's meditation and, instead, speak with some of the soldiers in the garrison (Ord Mantell). I will do so away from the cantina, I feel that such places are not for me.
I do hope that Master Ak'ron puts more constructive aspects of his plan into motion, soon..."
Neritaana's expression changes to deep concern.
"Tython, I feel, has caught the Empire's attention, again. Before the hour grows too desperate, I hope that our plan keeps the Imperial fleet far away from Tythonian space..."
